shod ze ghamat khanaye soda delamdar talabat raft be harja delam

dar talabe zohre rokhe mahrominegarad janebe bala delam

farshe ghamash gashtamo akhar ze bakhtraft barin saghfe mosafa delam

ah ke emruz delam ra che shoddush che goftast kasi ba delam

dar talabe guhare goyaye eshghmoj zanad, moj cho darya delam

Ruz shodo chadore shab mideradDar paye on aisho tamana delam

Az dele to dar dele man noktehastVah che rahast az dele to ta delam

yearning for you has turned my heart to dwelling of sorrows.in search of you my heart wandered everywhere.

in search for sight of that beautiful face......my heart is always facing the highness above.

for her love i became dust under her feet and......this humbleness made my heart soar to heavenly arch(seventh heaven).

oh! What is happening to my heart these days?(the heavenly voice) what whispers to me at night?

in search of rare, vital jewel of love……my heart is restless in its search, like a roaring, stormy sea.

it is the dawn and my heart pierces the curtain of night…… in searching, in yearning for captivating beloved.

there is lots of mysteries, lots of lessons from your heart in mine.oh! What a beautiful path it is, the road between your heart and mine.

if you do not show compassion toward my heart…oh! My poor heart will be doomed. Oh my poor heart.

O Tabriz! In search of your Shams (or in search of that sun of faith)……how much longer my heart should reach to far and unreachable places?
