*A french holiday company**Not sure about what this word actually refers to ; Freelance is a shoe store, or simply a worker who's self-employed and not necessarily committed to a particular employer long-term blah blah blah blah blah... well, I would opt for the first reference (=w=)***I really don't know how to translate this word xD "genre" is a very common slang used in France. When someone says "il était genre comme ça", it could be translated by "he was rather like that" ; it's like the person hesitates a little on how to describe whom he's talking about. When someone says "ça fait trop genre", it means something looks fake (by example, when you see a lot of Christmas decorations in a supermarket and you say this sentence, it means this supermarket looks a bit too... pimp to you ^^ ). And, final point, when someone answers to you by this exclamation : "ouais, genre !", it means either he doesn't believe you, or he just echoes your own doubt ; by example : "elle n'est pas venue en cours parce qu'elle se sentait mal" ("she didn't go at class because she felt sick"), and the person you're speaking with answers "ouais genre" ("yeah I see") in a kinda ironical way. I sincerely hope it's been useful T_T"****TF1 is the most popular french channel
