Πολλοί με κατακτήσανε δεν είσαι μόνο εσύΤο σώμα μου αποκτήσανε κι είδαν θαλασσίτο πρώτο Εγώ το Αιγαίο

Μια κορδέλα περασμένη τριγύρω απ' τον ώμο μου λοξάΣ' ένα βράχο ανεβασμένη πατρίδα ο νους μου φώναξα

Μέρα νύχτα αγκαλιασμένοιγυναίκα σου η δάφνη-φοίνικατου Θεόφιλου δοσμένηστο λάδι αυτού του πίνακαΑχ ψυχή μου εσύ γοργόνααν ζει τι ρωτούσες ,γέλαγα

Πιασ' του πεύκου μια βελόνανα παίξει ο δίσκος πέλαγαΕγώ δεν έχω μέγα ανάστημαμα από το Αλφα ως το Ωμέγαπροσκυνώ το διάστημα

Μεταποιώ το θα σε θάλασσακι απ' τ' αλμυρό πιο τολμηρότο πρώτο Εγώ το Αιγαίο

Χαίρε ω χαίρε ανδρειωμένηπατρίδα σε τέφρα φοίνικατου Θεόφιλου δοσμένηστο λάδι αυτού του πίνακαΜαρμαρένια μου Αφροδίτηστο αχ μας κανένας,ψέμματαΠοιο νησί ρουφά απ΄τη μύτηαφρούς κυμμάτων κι αίματα
