Se disfrazaba de arrieropara asaltar los poblados.Burlándose del gobierno,mataba muchos soldadosnomás franqueaba en los cerrosde puros encalzonados.

Ahí viene el Ojo de Vidrio,gritaba el pueblo asustadoy a las mujeres buscabamirando pa' todos lados,dejaba pueblos enteroslleno de puros colgados.

Después de tantas hazañasal verlo que se paseaba,en su caballo tordillofrente de la plaza de armaslo acribillaron a tirossin que le pasara nada.

Decían que estaba forradocon un chaleco de mallas,las balas le rebotabanmientras él se carcajeaba,se iba tranquilo a caballosin que nadie le estorbara.

Bajaron tres campesinosde allá del cerro escondido,traíban al Ojo de Vidrio,picado de un coralillo,venía ya muerto el bandidoen su caballo tordillo.
