Who saw Icarus,There, in the blue distance?A pair of light wings,A son of a wicked world.
He flew over the mountains, proud, like an eagle,Splitting the clouds with an arrow.He flew over mountains lit by the sun,And looked to the Earth from high above.
Who gave him wings?Who waited for him on the cliffs?But he'd forgotten everything,and vanished into the mist.
