أبا القاسميا حبيبي يا محمديا شفيعي يا محمدخير خلق الله محمد

He prayed while others sleptWhile others ate he’d fastWhile they would laugh he weptUntil he breathed his lastHis only wish was for us to beAmong the ones who prosperYa Mu’allim peace be upon youTruly you are our TeacherOh Mu’allim

يا حبيبي يا محمديا شفيعي يا محمديا رسولي يا محمد
يا بشيري يا محمديا نذيري يا محمدعشق قلبي يا محمدنور عيني يا محمد
He taught us to be just and kindAnd to feed the poor and hungryHelp the wayfarer and the orphan childAnd to not be cruel and miserlyHis speech was soft and gentleLike a mother stroking her childHis mercy and compassionWere most radiant when he smiled
