Farmer Emmerich caught the serpentAnd the brown ape in a cageAnd took them into his houseHe fed the snake a vat of milkAnd when the ape rattled its chainHe tossed the ape a mouseSo longGoodbyeFarewell
The villagers found out that Farmer EmmerichWas nurturing a serpentAnd descended upon his farmAll rabid in their blindnessThey dragged the snake outsideChopped it open with an axeAnd the ground soakedIn the milk of human kindnessSo longFarewellSo long
But the brown ape escapedAnd was heard to roam the rangesClanking its heavy chainDown in the valley it sang to its friendWhom he may never see again
