الصُّبْحُ بدَا مِنْ طَلْعَتِهِوالليلُ دَجا من وَفرتهِفاقَ الرُّسلَ فضلاً وعُلا
أَهْدَى السُّبُلَ لِدَلالَتِهِكَنْزُ الْكَرَمِ عذْبُ الكلِمهادي الأُممِ لشريعتهِ
أزكى النسَبِ أعلى الحسَبِهو خيرُ نبي في أُمتِهسَعَت الشَّجَرُ نَطَقَ الحَجَرُ
شُقّ القَمَرُ بِإِشَارتِهِجِبْرِيلُ أَتَاه لَيْلَةَ أَسْرَىوالرَّبُ دعاه لحضرتهِ
نالَ الشَّرَفَ والله عَفَاعمّا سلفَ من أُمتهِفمحمدُنا هوَ سيدُنافالعِزُّ لَنا لإِجَابتِهِ
The light of dawn is from the radiance of his faceThe sparkle of the night is from the glimmer of his hairHe exceeded all the Messengers in merit and rankHe guided people to the paths with his signs and proofs (x2)
He is the treasure of grace, his speech is sweet and eloquentHe is the guide of all the nations towards the Sacred LawHis lineage is the purest, his stature is the noblestHe is the greatest prophet in his nation (x2)

Trees walked towards him, stones spoke to greet himThe moon was split upon a signal of his hand[Archangel] Gabriel came to him (with glad tidings from Allah) on the Night of Ascension [Israa']And the Lord invited him [to the heavens] and bestowed upon him the honour of intimacy (x2)
He attained the highest honour, and Allah pardonedAll his nation's past sinsFor Muhammed is our master and leaderHonour and pride are ours for accepting his call (x2)
